Michael has broad experience in the management of general ENT disorders. He was formerly ENT Unit Head at the Women's and Children's Hospital and an examiner in ENT Surgery for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

He has a particular interest in paediatric ENT, including snoring and sleep disordered breathing.

Michael offers the option of tonsillar debulking surgery as an alternative to conventional tonsillectomy in appropriate circumstances.

Areas of special expertise:

·       All aspects of adult and paediatric ear disease, including surgery for cholesteatoma and laser stapedectomy.

·       Michael is an affiliated surgeon at the South Australian Cochlear Implant Centre with extensive experience in cochlear implant and bone conduction implant surgery.

·       Neuro-otology and lateral skull base surgery, particularly the management of acoustic neuroma.
